biography

Hi, I’m Pablo and I do cool things sometimes. I like writing code and music. I also like reverse engineering code and figuring out how systems work. One of my favorite examples of this was when I reverse engineered a multiplayer online game called Craftnite. I found out how they were storing data and how they were communicating with the server, but you can read more about that here.
Feel free to read all my other projects on my projects page.

My niche technical interests:

site technical overview

I love network engineering and my websites are a reflection of it. Check out the infrastructure for a technical overview of the site and its subdomains.

I contribute to open source software frequently, so I felt it would be kind to list the open source projects powering this website as a sort of land acknowledgment even if I’m not required to list projects and licenses.

This site is built on Jekyll with Ruby, and uses Node.JS for the build system. Additionally, pages are written in markdown and HTML with the Liquid templating language by Shopify, while some other parts of the frontend are written in TypeScript. It uses SASS for the CSS preprocessor.

The majority of this site is static and hosted by Cloudflare Pages, however some parts are dynamic, sometimes done with ‘serverless’ tech (Cloudflare Pages Functions).

The email setup has gone through a trillion iterations, and is really interesting. I’ll write a technical post on it soon.
